This conference program has two parts, Part 1: How AAALAC International accreditation fosters high quality animal welfare and Part 2: Success stories – International collaborations to solve local animal welfare issues in Asia. There are several experts from AAALAC International and accredited institutions in Asia. Speakers will share their experience and practical examples at their home institutions, for example AAALAC International’s expectation of high quality and animal welfare, 3Rs, culture of care, enrichment, open communication mechanisms, adverse event reporting, etc.
